Care Instructions

Your Natt Jewellery item has been handcrafted from sterling silver, natural stones and true devotion. To keep your silver jewellery looking as magnificent as it is on the day of your purchase, it is important to care for it properly. Pay attention to how to wear it, store it, and clean it. Here are some useful guidelines to help you take care of your new precious:

Wear your silver jewellery often! But please remember to remove your jewellery when you are: working out and engaging in active and/or team sports and activities, swimming (no matter where, swimming pool, river, sea, or hot springs), showering, bathing, cleaning, cooking, gardening, doing any household chores, sunbathing and when in sauna, putting on your makeup, hair- and body products.

Keep your silver jewellery in a place with low humidity. It is better to keep the items in individual soft bags or lined boxes. Try to keep pieces separately so they do not rub or tangle. Dry your silver jewellery completely after any exposure to water.

Silver is delicate, so even if you wear and store your jewellery properly, it will require cleaning once in a while. For polishing your silver jewellery, use a soft non-abrasive cloth (such as microfiber, soft flannel, or a special jewellery cleaning cloth). Do not rub your silver jewellery in circles. Instead, follow the stroke pattern with light pressure. Use a new section of the cloth regularly. Do not polish the intentionally oxidised parts of the jewellery piece. You can also wash your silver jewellery (with extra attention to stones or pearls) in warm water with a few drops of mild soap. Put your silver jewellery in the water and gently hand wash. You can use a soft toothbrush if more cleaning is needed. If a stone in your jewellery is glued, only polish it with a soft damp cloth and do not submerge the whole piece into the water. Stones in a setting can be immersed in soapy water and cleaned in combination with a soft toothbrush. Do not use hot water because stones can expand and break. Rinse and dry your silver jewellery properly before storing.

Do not use abrasive products like salt and baking soda to clean your silver jewellery. Do not use household cleaning products (i.e. bleach, alcohol, turpentine, acetone, ammonia, etc.) or healthcare/beauty products like toothpaste. These aggressive agents can cause irreversible damage to your jewellery.

If you wish to clean your item with a professional jewellery cleaning product, always read the manufacturer’s instruction and follow it. You can also have your jewellery professionally cleaned and polished by us or your local jeweller. These simple rules will help you keep your silver jewellery looking awesome for a long time.
